Poverty does not simply denote a lack of financial resources โ it encompasses a fundamental absence of the means necessary for sustaining life and preserving human dignity.
This includes access to essential resources such as safe shelter, proper nutrition, adequate healthcare, clean water, quality education, and reliable energy. Poverty manifests in the violation of fundamental human rights, rendering millions of people unable to participate meaningfully in society or realise their full potential.
The WSANDN takes a collective, grassroots approach to poverty eradication โ recognising that sustainable change comes from communities, governments, organisations and individuals working together across all subnational and national levels.
Through the WSANDN VISION2030 framework, we are committed to addressing all 20 critical issues that perpetuate poverty โ from lack of education and healthcare, to conflicts, corruption and financial exclusion.
